Research Interests
My work focuses on the new forms censorship can take in our digital age. There are two essential parts: publishing demonstrations showing the sophisticated censorship techniques that are possible with today's technology and developing countermeasures to these techniques that are easy to deploy and use.
I am also interested in the development and detection of malware. Recently I have been focusing on the theory and implementation of metamorphic engines. Detection methods are relevant as well, as they are a way to measure the effectiveness of metamorphic algorithm.
Grants and Support
The last two years of my undergraduate education are funded by the National Science Foundation under award 0830884.
